Last updated: June 2026. Applying to everyone equally. By playing on Mu Eregion you agree to this
Code of Conduct and to our
Terms of Service and
Privacy Policy. Not having read it is not an excuse.
The one rule
Behave properly. Be responsible for your own conduct and for how far you take it. If you don't, you will
receive sanctions that escalate according to the severity of the behavior and how often you repeat it —
up to a permanent ban. Everything below only explains how that is applied, fairly and equally, with no exceptions.
What is NOT punished — this is a PvP game
Competition and trash talk are part of MU. We do not punish competitive banter and provocation such as
"noob", "ez", "you're trash", "go back to town", guild rivalry or castle-war taunting. Compete, provoke, talk
trash — that's the game.
What IS punished
Sanctions escalate with the severity of the behavior:
• Vulgar or offensive language — profanity and insults, even if not aimed at a
specific player.
• Serious personal attacks — insults to family, sexual harassment, body-shaming,
disability insults, or publicly accusing another player of cheating without proof.
• Offending the administration, staff or moderators — ZERO TOLERANCE — insults,
vulgarity, threats or offensive language aimed at the server administration, staff or moderators
will not be tolerated in the slightest and carry the immediate maximum penalty (permanent ban).
Disagreeing with a decision is fine and belongs in a support ticket (see below); insulting the people
who run the server does not.
• ZERO TOLERANCE (immediate maximum penalty) — racism, xenophobia, homophobia,
transphobia, ethnic slurs, sharing someone's real personal data (doxxing), and real threats.
You answer for your own words — read this carefully
Responsibility is individual. Each person answers for what they said — nothing else. If someone
provokes or insults you, that does not give you the right to break this Code of Conduct back. If you do,
you are punished for it, exactly like anyone else who breaks it. "He started it" or "he said worse"
is not a defense. In the same argument, everyone who crosses the line is punished — each one for
their own words. The only way not to be punished is simple: don't break the conduct.
How moderation works
Player communications may be analyzed by an automated (AI-assisted) system, and actions are reviewed by
staff. Each message is judged on its own — we do not need to know about any personal dispute. Sanctions are
cumulative and escalate with severity and repetition. Every sanction is recorded against your
account, hardware and IP.
It is not up to you to decide what does or does not count as a violation — that judgment belongs to the
staff and the system, not to the player. Your only responsibility is to follow this Code of Conduct.
Sanctions apply to your account AND your hardware — and, in serious cases, to your personal connection.
Creating a new account on the same hardware does not reset anything. A clean record over time resets the
counter. Sanctions are applied at our discretion, with or without prior notice, even if CashCoins or items
remain on the account, and no refunds are due as a result.
Awareness & consent
Every time you log in, you agree to this Code of Conduct. Logging in to play — on any day and on any of
your accounts — means you have read, accept and continue to accept these rules as they stand on that day. New
players also agree when creating their account, and existing players must
acknowledge this Code of Conduct on the website, on each of their accounts. Until you acknowledge it, if
you keep playing you may be temporarily blocked until you confirm on the site. Continuing to log in is itself
your ongoing agreement — "I didn't accept it" is not a defense.
This acknowledgment exists so that everyone is now aware they are subject to automated moderation. Once
you have been made aware, complaints or disputes about being moderated will not be accepted — the rules
are public and it is your responsibility to follow them. The only exception is a genuine mistake (see below).
One official channel — the support ticket
The support ticket on the website
is the only official channel to talk to the staff. Use it for questions, doubts and suggestions —
if you want to ask something or propose an idea, that is where it goes. Chat, Discord, direct messages or any
other channel are not official and will not be considered.
The ticket is also where you report a sanction you believe was applied to you by a genuine mistake
(for example, a technical error). It is not a place to dispute the rules, argue your case, or justify
your behavior — "he provoked me" and similar are not accepted, and staff will not argue.
If you did not follow this Code of Conduct, the responsibility is entirely yours.
We are raising the standard because we want a clean and respectable community. If you do not want to be tested
against these rules — do not cross the line, and do not test them.
